In a spiritual dream I saw two camps of people down upon the earth from a great height. From the first camp, I heard a cry arise from the people as one voice, "No one is perfect!" From the tone of this voice, I understood that they said this from a place of cynicism, despair, disappointment with God and as a justification to no longer seek after a friendship with Jesus Christ His Son. They were resigned to living only for themselves.
From the second camp I heard a cry arise from the people as one voice, "No one is perfect!" From the tone of this voice, I understood that they said this from a place of deep spiritual hunger, hope for transformation, trust in God and as a motivation to seek after a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ than ever before.
I remember in the dream how amazed I was to hear the same factual words arise from two camps of people that represented such opposite outcomes and ways of being and living. The first was a mere human reaction to a painful reality, but the second was a human response to a graceful divine invitation.
I pray to be and remain a part of that second camp of people here on earth! I pray this for you as well.
